Farmagorà – Academy for Pharmacists

A blended learning project (academy, digital content on demand, coaching for executives)

Farmagorà is the health care town square. A new model of pharmacy at the service of the public.
Farmagorà is a group for pharmacies and pharmacists to meet, share know-how, experience and value to create a network of health care specialists.

Goals
  • Facilitating and supporting the transition in their role towards an interpretation of the pharmaceutical profession that is more closely aligned with the needs of the present day

  • Reinforce pharmacists’ interpersonal skills

  • Lead the growth and evolution of a network of pharmacists that nurture a new way of understanding the pharmacy itself, as a place of listening, tackling and healing ill-health
Content

Relationship with the public, continuous learning, updates and tech support are the tools we have made available to our pharmacists to help them drive innovation, together.

Relationship with the public, continuous learning, updates and tech support are the tools we have made available to our pharmacists to help them drive innovation, together.

In the digital learning section, there are two pathways dedicated to the two key roles, director and pharmacist, with some ad hoc content and others shared.

Farmagorà’s online academy contains huge amounts of content for digital learning for pharmacists, an agora, or town square where the community can exchange professional best practice, news to remain up to date on the latest technological and scientific innovations and updates to regulations in the sector, as well as a section for webinars and technical-scientific tutorials.

The educational focus is on three key areas of interaction: clients and the relevant levers for effective listening and therapeutic recommendations, colleagues in the team with in-depth knowledge to maximise cooperation, and lastly partners. This last section is dedicated to directors, to ensure they are able to lead their teams to the highest standards.
